U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday that some of the judges who ruled against the Trump administration’s executive orders in recent days need to be removed.
“Many judges need to be removed,” Bondi said during an interview on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” on Thursday night. “These judges obviously cannot be impartial. They cannot be objective.”
She named three federal judges who have temporarily paused President Donald Trump’s policies, including U.S. district judges James Boasberg, Beryl Howell, and Ana Reyes. Bondi then said that Boasberg, who ordered the administration to stop invoking the Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal immigrants accused of being members of transnational gangs, shouldn’t rule on any Trump administration case.
“They are district judges trying to control our entire country, our entire country, and they are trying to obstruct Donald Trump’s agenda,” Bondi said.
Her comments come as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) told reporters on Tuesday that Congress could intervene in the court system by restructuring, defunding, or eliminating U.S. federal courts. […]
