In the recent vice-presidential debate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz doubled down on his aggressive abortion agenda –– denying facts, averting questions, and outright lying about the true meaning of the radical abortion legislation he signed into law as governor, turning Minnesota into one of the nation’s leading “abortion sanctuary” states.

While Senator JD Vance uncovered much of Walz’s pro-death agenda during the debate, here’s a recap of five of Walz’s most egregious lies and why voters need to know about them before casting their ballots this November:

But women aren’t having abortions because they’re zealots eager to exercise their right to choose. Many abortion-bound mothers and fathers are very open to changing their minds…provided somebody is there to have a conversation.

Vigil volunteers in Santa Maria, California, met a couple headed for an abortion. When they asked the man his thoughts on abortion, he gave a noncommittal response about “respecting different opinions.”

She began the conversation by emphatically stating, “I’m pro-choice, but what I witnessed last night was wrong.” She went on to explain that she had seen a live birth during an abortion attempt, that the abortionist had then placed towels and sheets over the moving baby’s face and left the room, and that shortly after that, the child was found to be dead. Furthermore, she provided me with the patient’s name, the abortionist’s name, and that at the time of the abortion, and noted the aborted baby’s grandmother was also in the room and that she’d had a strong reaction to seeing the baby flailing after the botched abortion.

I called information (411) and asked for the phone numbers and addresses of Baptist Hospital, the abortionist, a florist near the hospital, and the police department’s homicide division. […]

Abortions increased approximately 40% amongst minors and were overwhelmingly performed on Black women, with that demographic undergoing 43.9% percent of all abortions in Ohio. Black Ohioans comprise approximately 13.0% of Ohio’s total population.

“These death statistics are heartbreaking as abortion continues to target minorities and tragically now our school-aged children,” said Mike Gonidakis, president of Ohio Right to Life. “The number of women traveling to Ohio to have an abortion has doubled which has led to the spike in the number of total induced abortions in our State. Ohio, sadly is becoming a destination state for aborting babies,” said Gonidakis.

“The sad reality is that 22,000 reported abortions in Ohio does not meet the liberal definition of ‘safe, legal and rare. While the abortion industry ignores the health care needs of women, Ohio Right to Life and Ohio’s 123 pregnancy centers will continue to offer a health care and social service safety net to women and their children,” said Gonidakis.
