Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is taking no prisoners when it comes to both cleaning up the Pentagon and smacking down Deep State-loving ‘journalists.’
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump revealed during a press conference on Friday with Japan’s prime minister that he had directed Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to conduct a comprehensive audit of the Pentagon’s funding. As TGP readers know, the Pentagon has failed audits for several years.
“Yes, I have [directed Musk to review] Pentagon, Education, just about everything,” Trump said.
Later that day, Hegseth committed to getting the Pentagon to pass a clean audit within four years.
“The American taxpayers deserve that,” he continued. “They deserve to know where their $850 billion dollars go, how it’s spent, and make sure it’s spent wisely.” […]
