Kamala Harris held an event with Beyonce in Houston, Texas on Friday night, and they were doubtless hoping that they would get a lot of attention.
Instead, because of Joe Rogan’s interview with President Donald Trump, most people were talking about Harris’ opponents and listening to that three-hour podcast rather than paying any attention to anything Harris had to say. As a result, Trump managed to hold the news cycle yet again, talking about everything from Kamala, the border, and getting shot to UFOs and how alternative forms of energy can harm whales.
It was the kind of thing that’s much more revealing about a candidate and his thoughts than a limited debate. And the fact that Harris hasn’t been willing to put herself out that way says a lot – and none of it is good.
The interview has more than 9 million views at the time of this writing, that’s after just dropping late on Friday, about ten hours ago.
In addition, the Harris rally also turned out to not be what the attendees were expecting. I think they came out expecting a Beyonce concert in Beyonce’s hometown. But instead what they got was her saying a few words for Harris, and then not even performing. […]
