On the heels of fresh polling showing Donald Trump pulling ahead of Kamala Harris in key Pennsylvania counties, new voter data information released shows that the number of voters registering as Republican surged in September. The numbers are impressive, with the GOP gaining nearly twice as many new voters as the Democrats.
This is obviously good news for Trump, who is coming off his triumphant return to Butler, PA, and for Senate hopeful Dave McCormick, who is closing the gap in his race to defeat Democrat incumbent Bob Casey. Data geeks can find the county-by-county breakdown of voter registration numbers here.
