Eyes on Charleroi first appeared when President-elect Donald Trump highlighted the town’s staggering 2,000% surge in its migrant population before the presidential elections. The resident is also planning a class-action lawsuit on behalf of hundreds of residents, demanding accountability from those responsible for the migrant invasion.

Local media outlet Pennsylvania Record reports the lawyer of Andrew Armbruster, a resident of Charleroi, filed Pennsylvania’s new anti-SLAPP law, a measure that gives defendants, in some instances, the opportunity to evade litigation. This is regarding a defamation lawsuit filed against Armbruster by the Charleroi business Fourth Street Foods

“SLAPP stands for strategic lawsuits against public participation, and anti-SLAPP laws give defendants a First Amendment argument,” Pennsylvania Record’s John O’Brien wrote.

The motion stated that Fourth Street Foods owner David Barbe filed the lawsuit against Armbruster primarily to suppress protected public expression.

Armbruster’s rights to speak to public issues, community members, and prevailing wages without ever being accused of mentioning ‘Dave Barbe’ are an incredible encroachment on everyone in Charleroi’s right to free expression on public matters,” the motion said.

The motion continued, “Not only are they chilled from speaking about Mr. Barbe, by this lawsuit they are chilled from mentioning the hiring practices of a local employer.”

Readers might recall in September. We had the first boots on the ground in the small town outside Pittsburgh – down the street from Nemacolin, investigating staffing companies that were feeding Haitians like cattle into local factories.

Wow.

Libs of TikTok covered our on-the-ground reporting.

And this.

Pennsylvania Record noted, “After Barbe sued Armbruster, Armbruster reiterated his claims in the Charleroi Rambler and said he was organizing a class action lawsuit on behalf of the citizens and workers of the town.

Armbruster posted on Facebook:

I have taken it upon myself to say enough and to fight back.  I am organizing a Class Action Lawsuit against Fourth Street Foods and its ownership on behalf of the citizens and workers of Charleroi.  I wrote a draft of the lawsuit and printed petitions for residents to register as claimants.  I have collected several hundred participants in a few short days, and the reception to the lawsuit has been exceedingly positive. My goal is to make Americans aware that we don’t have to accept being Displaced & Replaced by the open border policy of the current federal administration.  We can and will FIGHT BACK! DM me for additional details or to join the Class Action Lawsuit.

Charleroi residents are furious…

Armbruster’s planned class-action lawsuit could be one of the first instances in which small towns across America fight back in the court system against those responsible for globalist open-border policies that flooded their towns with migrants and led to the ‘Great Job Replacement‘ of blue-collar workers.

For the politicians and companies that still can’t read the room after the presidential election: “America First.” Let’s remind you that a majority of Americans gave Trump a mandate to prioritize taxpaying citizens first—not third-world migrants.

Deport Millions, Finish the Wall, Tax Remittances, and End Birthright Citizenship https://right.report/deport-millions-finish-the-wall-tax-remittances-and-end-birthright-citizenship/ https://right.report/deport-millions-finish-the-wall-tax-remittances-and-end-birthright-citizenship/#respond Sat, 11 Jan 2025 22:45:53 +0000 https://right.report/deport-millions-finish-the-wall-tax-remittances-and-end-birthright-citizenship/ Editor’s note: This is a lightly edited transcript of the accompanying video from noted historian and Daily Signal Senior Contributor Victor Davis Hanson.

(Daily Signal)—I want to talk about illegal immigration. You know, this is the point in our history that we’ve never been before. We have not a porous border, but no border at all. We’ve had somewhere between 10 [million] to 12 million illegal entrants since the Biden administration began.

There is no real corpus of immigration law. It’s been destroyed. We’re at a historical period in our country, where 55 million people, never such a large number of people born outside the United States, that are residing here. In terms of percentages, almost 16% of the population was not born in the United States.

That’s an enormous task of assimilation, integration, [and] civic education, and we just haven’t been doing any of that. So, what are we going to do? Well, the first thing is: We need to stop “catch and release.” We need to make entrants, legal entrants, go back to their country if they’re applying for refugee status. You cannot come here, and then say you’re a refugee. You must ascertain that and prove that at the consulate overseas.

We’ve got to finish the walls. It’s a 2,000-mile border, and we’ve never quite been able to continue. We’ve got a wall or fence or somehow obstruct the entire 2,000-mile border. That will save manpower. It will save time and cost, and it will have an enormous deterrent effect.

The next couple of things are a little bit trickier. I think that whatever your status is, if you are sending money back to a foreign country from the United States that is singled out as a source of illegal immigration—Mexico, Latin America, for example—then the United States government should put a 10% to 20% or 30% tax on all the remittances.

That would earn us up to maybe somewhere around $20 billion. And that would also deter Mexico, to take one example, that depends on remittances as its largest source of foreign exchange—greater than tourism, greater than its oil revenues. And yet, so often the American taxpayer—state, local, federal—through generous subsidies, free up the cash so that the illegal resident can send it back for social necessities that the Mexican government itself is responsible for, so we’re subsidizing everybody but ourselves.

I think it’s very important that we start looking at the countries that are the source of illegal immigration in terms of security. A Sudan, a Syria, terrorist countries that support, countries that support terrorism like Venezuela, the Middle East, especially Iran. Russia, as well.

Why would we let them send people here that we have no background checks, have not adjudicated their status? So, we should have a travel ban, an immediate deportation, and immediate consequences for the mother country that knowingly sends these people here. And that, too, would be a deterrent.

We’ve got to also look at anchor babies.

The 14th Amendment didn’t really ever say, as sometimes [is] alleged, that if you’re born in the United States, then you’re an automatic citizen. It says if you’re born in the United States, and not subject to the laws of another country. All the people coming, in some sense, are subject to the laws of another country.

So, we have to redefine that, either through legislation or renewed attempts in the courts.

Europe, the Left always looks for guidance—17 [European] countries don’t even allow it. And the other 13 or 14 have restrictions that qualify it. So, we’re the only country in the world that gives unqualified citizenship to people who happen to be born here and then anchor an entire family.

Why not also put a 10-, 20-year ban on people who have been detained here illegally and stop them from applying for a green card or legal readmissions for 20 years? That would be a very powerful deterrent.

In other words, we would announce sometime in February and say, “We want all of you to know, all 12 million who came here during the Biden administration, to take the first iteration of cohort, you have 30 days to go back. If you do not go back to your country, and you are detained, arrested here in the United States, you will be deported, but you will not be given any chance to get a green card for 10 to 20 years,” depending on how the courts or legislation adjudicates it.

And finally, I think it’s time to look at how we deport people. The first 500,000 who have committed a crime, it will be no problem. There’s unanimous consent. They should be deported immediately. They’re wreaking havoc on the American population.

The next iteration, the 1.5 [million], 1.7 million people who have already gone through the system, they’ve been adjudicated, they failed to show up for the court hearings. Or they left detention when they were facing deportation.

Those would be the next group that would face deportation. The third group of people, as I said earlier, from terrorist countries or terrorist-supporting countries, no one is going to sympathize with their residents here.

The fourth group is a little trickier, but I think we could pretty easily find hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of able-bodied residents who are on public assistance and who have not been here five years. If you haven’t been here five years, you came during the Biden open-borders era.

You were on welfare of some sort, and you’re able to work. You should go back home. That would leave a large group of people who have been here five years. They’ve never committed a crime. They’re not on public assistance. And they want to get a green card, not citizenship, a green card.

I think if we had won public opinion and support by deporting the most egregious offenders, say 10 [million] to 12 million, then I think in a bipartisan fashion, we could work out a system for the law-abiding, the productive, and the long-residing American residents and allow them to pay a fine to recapture legality and stay in the United States.

It’s going to be a tough road to restore border security, because the prior administration didn’t believe in it. But I think now that the White House, the Senate, and the House are in Republican hands, it’s absolutely possible. It can be done rather quickly.

Thank you very much. I’m Victor Hanson for The Daily Signal. Please subscribe to The Daily Signal for our next episode.

MAGA’s H-1B Debate Is Healthy for America https://right.report/magas-h-1b-debate-is-healthy-for-america/ https://right.report/magas-h-1b-debate-is-healthy-for-america/#respond Sun, 29 Dec 2024 16:08:53 +0000 https://right.report/magas-h-1b-debate-is-healthy-for-america/ The left sees an opportunity. They are watching division within the MAGA movement over H-1B visas and are trying to fan the flames of discontent as conservative and populist allies trade barbs. But as someone who is getting messaged from both sides I can assure you that outside of a tiny handful of “influencers” who are taking advantage of the moment to advance their own brand, nobody’s trying to split the MAGA movement apart.

In fact, this is all extremely healthy in a way that groupthinking leftists could never understand.

The so-called ‘civil war’ within Trump’s MAGA movement over H-1B visas isn’t really a war at all. It’s a testament to the process of political ideological debate where differing opinions are not just aired but are essential in shaping policy.

At the heart of this discussion are two sides: one advocating for an expansion of the H-1B visa program, supported by figures like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, and the other opposing it, concerned about the impact on American workers.

Elon Musk, a key player in this debate, has notably suggested changes to the visa program. He advocates for a system where companies pay more to hire foreign workers, ensuring that only exceptional talent benefits from the visa, thus protecting American jobs.

Interestingly, Donald Trump, who once criticized H-1B visas, has now shown support for reform, a move influenced by his own positive experiences with the program. This shift has not been without backlash, as many in his base feel this might prioritize business interests over the welfare of American workers.

However, this isn’t a sign of division but rather of a healthy political ecosystem. The debate exemplifies how politics should function – by bringing diverse viewpoints to the table, leading to a consensus or at least a compromise that serves America. That compromise seems to already be forming with Musk recommending raising minimum salaries and adding a yearly cost for companies to maintain H-1B, making it more expensive for them to hire foreign workers than American citizens. This theft of jobs from Americans has been the main sticking point for people like conservative commentator Steve Bannon.

Some on the left might see this internal conflict as a chance to exploit divisions, but what we’re witnessing is the opposite. It’s a process where through debate and discussion, a more coherent policy stance can emerge.

This internal dialogue within the MAGA movement shows that politics isn’t about maintaining a monolithic stance but about engaging in the messy, necessary work of governance through debate and eventual agreement. This ‘civil war’ over H-1B visas represents politics at its best – dynamic, contentious, but ultimately constructive.

No H-1B Visas: Why America Should Focus on O-1 Visas for Talent https://right.report/no-h-1b-visas-why-america-should-focus-on-o-1-visas-for-talent/ https://right.report/no-h-1b-visas-why-america-should-focus-on-o-1-visas-for-talent/#respond Sat, 28 Dec 2024 16:40:42 +0000 https://right.report/no-h-1b-visas-why-america-should-focus-on-o-1-visas-for-talent/ Immigration policy is a critical topic shaping the future of American workers, corporations, and society as a whole. Questions around who should gain entry to the U.S. workforce often pit economic needs against national priorities. Central to this debate is the comparison of H-1B visas and O-1 visas. Critics argue that the H-1B program prioritizes corporate profits over American workers, but there is an alternative that could better serve both the nation and its economy: the O-1 visa.

The Problem with H-1B Visas

The H-1B visa program has long been contentious. Promoted as a pathway to bring skilled foreign workers into the United States, it’s been heavily criticized for its misuse. Many large corporations, including some of the richest companies in the world, have exploited the program to hire workers at lower wages than they would pay an equally qualified American.

Why do these companies push for more H-1B visas? The answer lies in cost and control. Workers on these visas are often bound to their employers, unable to freely switch jobs without jeopardizing their immigration status. Critics liken this to a form of “indentured servitude,” where corporations benefit from both the labor and the reduced bargaining power of these employees.

This isn’t just an abstract issue. Imagine an American computer science graduate from a top program. Shouldn’t they have the first chance to build a career in the field they’ve dedicated years to studying? H-1B programs can push these opportunities out of reach for homegrown talent.

Does the U.S. Need Skilled Workers?

There’s no denying the value of skilled immigrants. The United States has always benefited from the contributions of brilliant minds from around the globe. But the H-1B visa isn’t the best solution to this need. While it favors lower costs for corporations, it undercuts wages and opportunities for American workers. The system also doesn’t guarantee that the “best and brightest” are the ones entering the country.

This is where the O-1 visa comes in. Designed for individuals with extraordinary ability or achievement in fields like science, education, business, or athletics, the O-1 visa offers a framework to attract high-level talent without compromising opportunities for American workers.

A Better Approach to Immigration: O-1 Visas and New Ideas

The O-1 visa could be the answer to balancing economic needs with American interests. Unlike the H-1B, it’s not designed to fill entry-level or mid-tier roles. Instead, it’s reserved for individuals who’ve demonstrated exceptional ability or accomplishment. This ensures that only the most talented individuals gain entry.

But there’s room to expand beyond the O-1 visa framework. The current immigration system allows 55,000 people into the U.S. annually through the Diversity Lottery. What if this system shifted to prioritize measurable talent instead? Imagine admitting just 10,000 individuals yearly who score exceptionally high on an intelligence and English proficiency test, with strict background checks to exclude criminal activity. Such changes could ensure that America remains a global leader while addressing growing concerns over labor market competition.

What Happened to the Social Contract?

The H-1B visa issue is about more than economics—it’s about values and priorities. Immigration policies should reflect the will of the American people. Polls and voting trends show that a majority of Americans favor lower levels of immigration overall. They want programs that protect jobs for citizens and align with the country’s social contract.

Letting corporations dictate immigration policy is a betrayal of this contract. Replacing qualified American workers with cheaper foreign labor, especially under programs like the H-1B, undermines trust in the system. Immigration should serve the national interest, not just corporate bottom lines.

Putting American Workers First

The debate over H-1B visas versus O-1 visas boils down to a simple question: where do our priorities lie? Should America prioritize massive corporations looking to save money, or should it protect opportunities for its own citizens? It’s not about shutting America off to the world. It’s about carefully selecting who comes in—those who truly add value.

The O-1 visa and other talent-first policies provide a way forward. America doesn’t have to settle for a system that depresses wages and replaces its workers. By prioritizing talent and aligning immigration policies with national interests, the United States can remain competitive and fair.

In the end, immigration reform isn’t about pleasing one group or another. It’s about doing what’s best for the American people. And when it comes to building a stronger workforce, protecting opportunities for citizens while welcoming top-tier talent is the smart choice. Who wouldn’t want the best and brightest to join us—on our terms?

CNN’s Scott Jennings Says MAGA’s Argument in Online Feud Is to “Eliminate the Fraud” in H1-B Visas https://right.report/cnns-scott-jennings-says-magas-argument-in-online-feud-is-to-eliminate-the-fraud-in-h1-b-visas/ https://right.report/cnns-scott-jennings-says-magas-argument-in-online-feud-is-to-eliminate-the-fraud-in-h1-b-visas/#respond Sat, 28 Dec 2024 10:54:56 +0000 https://right.report/cnns-scott-jennings-says-magas-argument-in-online-feud-is-to-eliminate-the-fraud-in-h1-b-visas/ DCNF(DCNF)—CNN’s Scott Jennings broke down Republicans’ arguments on Friday after a feud broke out online over the use of H-1B visas.

Department of Government Efficiency co-heads Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy came under fire this week after a debate over H-1B visas erupted on X. On “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” Jennings was asked about the feud highlighting a division on policy within Trump’s base and whether it could harm the unity within the party so far.

“Look, there’s always been a push and pull on this in the Republican Party. I think there’s a way to work this out and solve it,” Jennings said. “I think what a lot of people would say is, Elon Musk was making this point, if you take the top 1% or the top 0.1% of the most talented engineering people from other countries, that’s perfectly fine. H-1B visas for that, they’re unique, they have unique talent, unique innovative skills, fine.”

“If you’re using the H-1B program to abuse it, to recruit interns, accountants, other people that easily could be recruited from the United States of America, all because you just want to do it cheaper, that’s not fine,” Jennings added.

Jennings went on to say how there could be a way to “retain” top visa performers, but he called out Ramaswamy for his take as it had “rightfully” angered supporters.

“So I think what a lot of people in the party want to do is eliminate the fraud in this H-1B  program, retain the top engineering talent, and there’s a way to do this,” Jennings said. “What Ramaswamy did yesterday was not a great communications exercise, and it did anger a lot of people  in the president’s coalition, and I think rightfully so.”

The debate over H-1B visas, one of the largest visa categories in the country, began with their use in the tech industry by users on X. According to the Department of Labor, the visas allow employers to hire skilled foreign workers and authorize “the temporary employment of qualified individuals who are not otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.”

While Musk simply commented “correct” in response to an X user’s claim that a slowdown in skilled immigration would ultimately hinder American innovation, Ramaswamy elaborated, saying how American culture uplifts “mediocrity over excellence.”

“Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG. A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math Olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers,” Ramaswamy wrote.

Since Musk’s involvement in Trump’s campaign, Democrats have begun to ramp up their criticisms of Musk and his role in Trump’s second administration, with Democratic lawmakers like Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut referring to the billionaire as “President Musk” after he called out Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson’s original 1,574-page continuing resolution (CR).

Elon Musk Rejects Conventional Economic Wisdom, Advocates Infinite Job Creation Potential https://right.report/elon-musk-rejects-conventional-economic-wisdom-advocates-infinite-job-creation-potential/ https://right.report/elon-musk-rejects-conventional-economic-wisdom-advocates-infinite-job-creation-potential/#respond Wed, 25 Dec 2024 19:58:31 +0000 https://right.report/elon-musk-rejects-conventional-economic-wisdom-advocates-infinite-job-creation-potential/ Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, has dismissed what he calls “wrong-headed economic thinking” by suggesting there is “infinite potential” for creating jobs and businesses. Musk’s critique centers on the fallacy of a “fixed pie” in economics, where the assumption is that economic resources are limited and must be divided among the population.

In a post on X, Musk stated, “The ‘fixed pie’ fallacy is at the heart of much wrong-headed economic thinking. There is essentially infinite potential for job and company creation. Think of all the things that didn’t exist 20 or 30 years ago!”

His comments were in response to entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale’s mention of Sriram Krishnan, who has been tapped by President-elect Trump for a role in the upcoming administration. Krishnan had previously advocated for lifting the cap on green cards to unlock skilled immigration, a policy that aligns with Musk’s vision for expanding economic opportunities.

Musk’s perspective challenges the traditional economic theories which often emphasize scarcity and competition for existing resources rather than the creation of new opportunities. His argument suggests that innovation and entrepreneurship can break the mold of traditional economic constraints, fostering an environment where new jobs and businesses can be created without being limited by current market conditions.

This viewpoint was further highlighted when Musk discussed the need for merit-based immigration policies. Krishnan himself has supported skills-based criteria for green card allocation, emphasizing that the best talent should be attracted to the U.S. regardless of their country of origin. Musk’s support for such policies aligns with his belief in an economy where growth is not zero-sum but can be expansive, driven by human ingenuity and innovation.

Musk’s comments also resonate with his involvement in multiple industries where he has not only created jobs but also significantly transformed sectors like automotive, aerospace, and now social media through his various ventures like Tesla, SpaceX, and X. His approach underscores a belief in an economy where new sectors can emerge, offering new employment opportunities.

By challenging the notion of a static economic pie, Musk advocates for a dynamic economic model where growth is perpetually possible through technological advancement and entrepreneurial ventures. This perspective has sparked discussions among economists, policymakers, and the public on how to view economic development and job creation in a rapidly changing global landscape.

From the Editor: The Double Slipper Slopes

On the surface, this infinitely inclusive rhetoric sounds appealing. It removes limits to the potential for prosperity and who wouldn’t want that?

Well, actually, a lot of people wouldn’t want it for many reasons and greed isn’t one of them. This sounds very close to embracing the notion of Modern Monetary Theory in which money is uncapped and therefore even more worthless than the fiat monetary system we have in place today. And while Musk does not openly promote and would likely never overtly embrace the destructive theory, it’s an inescapable conclusion if policies were to enable his vision.

To be clear, I’m not suggesting that Musk is trying to bring about the destruction of our economy through Modern Monetary Theory any more than I would suggest that he’s calling for open borders with his idea of allowing uncapped “skilled” immigration, but both are inevitable if his ideas were to manifest in large scale.

There’s about a 90% chance that these particular ideas are simply fanciful whimsy with no attempts at practical application. Then again, there’s a small chance that he’s setting us up for the fall by being a covert shill for the Globalist Elite Cabal.

“The Epitome of Evil” Is Running Operations Out of Government Facilities “Established to Provide Assistance” to Illegals https://right.report/the-epitome-of-evil-is-running-operations-out-of-government-facilities-established-to-provide-assistance-to-illegals/ https://right.report/the-epitome-of-evil-is-running-operations-out-of-government-facilities-established-to-provide-assistance-to-illegals/#respond Mon, 21 Oct 2024 07:32:28 +0000 https://right.report/the-epitome-of-evil-is-running-operations-out-of-government-facilities-established-to-provide-assistance-to-illegals/ (End of the American Dream)—Are you ready for the truth?  Since Joe Biden entered the White House, we have witnessed a tsunami of migration that is unlike anything we have ever seen before.  Millions upon millions of people that are not being properly screened are taking advantage of our deeply broken immigration system.  As a result, South American gangs are now absolutely thriving in major cities all over America.

In fact, as you will see below, the most notorious South American gang is literally running operations out of facilities that were originally established by the government to assist migrants.

I have written about the national crisis that Tren de Aragua has created before, but it just keeps getting worse.  According to the Daily Mail, authorities are referring to this gang as the “epitome of evil” and “MS-13 on steroids”…

Dubbed the ‘epitome of evil’ and ‘MS-13 on steroids’, police investigations showed that the mob is behind a spiraling crime wave across the US, with members accused of murders, violent assaults on cops and sex trafficking women.

‘MS-13, they were never organized; Tren de Aragua is a transnational criminal organization from the bottom to the top,’ Colorado’s former ICE director John Fabbricatore told DailyMail.com.

‘These guys right here [in the US] – they’re sending money back to leaders in Venezuela. They’re set up shop like a corporation – it is the like the mafia. What it took MS-13 to do in like a ten-year period, Tren de Aragua has been able to do in less than a year,’ he added.

They have come across our wide open borders for a purpose. They are here to commit crimes and make lots of money, and they are causing chaos in communities from coast to coast.

In fact, it is being reported that in some cities they are actually running their operations out of “the very facilities established to provide assistance to migrants”…

As recent police investigations and criminal prosecutions have revealed, Tren de Aragua has no need to subsist in the underground world of urban blight where previous generations of immigrant crime gangs flourished. Instead, it appears to operate in the very facilities established to provide assistance to migrants who have illegally crossed the southern border, which Democratic presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris has so disastrously mismanaged.

Tren de Aragua’s leaders and members – identifiable by particular tattoos – have been reported to live, recruit new members, and sortie from migrant shelters, hotels appropriated for migrant use, and other social welfare institutions. New York City mayor Eric Adams, himself now under indictment for bribery and campaign finance crimes, estimates that migrant-related expenses will cost more than $12 billion by 2025 and could “destroy New York City”.

If we do not get this under control, the consequences will be horrific.

They are dealing drugs, they are breaking into homes, they are trafficking women and children, and they will kill anyone that gets in their way.

Earlier this month, there was a massive operation in San Antonio during which authorities took back a sprawling apartment complex that had been taken over by Tren de Aragua…

In a pre-dawn operation, hundreds of law enforcement officers closed in on the sprawling Palatia Apartments in the early hours of October 5 after spending weeks investigating reports that Tren de Aragua had control of the area.

After searching over 300 units, cops arrested 19 individuals – four of which have been confirmed as gang members.

‘One TdA member is a confirmed “enforcer” for that gang,’ and 15 were in the country illegally,’ the city’s top cop William McManus said.

According to one person that lives in that apartment complex, the gang was “prostituting the women and the children” in some of the apartment units.

We should be thankful that particular apartment complex has been cleaned up, but the Daily Mail has found three others in San Antonio that have also been taken over by Tren de Aragua…

But now DailyMail.com can reveal that this apartment invasion is just the tip of the iceberg in the major southern Texas city, with at least three other rental properties also occupied by the criminal organization.

DailyMail.com is not naming the three other apartment complexes to avoid jeopardizing ongoing police investigations.

However, the locations were confirmed by law enforcement sources, and we spent days visiting the sites where we spoke to terrified residents.

San Antonio was once such a beautiful place.

But now it is being absolutely terrorized by this gang.

And more military-age men from Venezuela are coming over the southern border with each passing day

According to the authority’s most recent statistics, 25,111 migrants passed through the Darién Gap in September, a 51.23-percent increase from the 16,603 recorded in August. Venezuelan nationals accounted for 78.83 percent of September’s total Darién crossings, totaling 19,800 registered encounters, up from the 11,733 logged in August.

Nearly eight million Venezuelans have fled their country over the past decade as a result of the collapse of socialism in their country. The Venezuelan migrant crisis, described as the worst migrant crisis in the Western Hemisphere, is only comparable in size to that of Syria and Ukraine, notable since Venezuela has not been in a state of war in recent history.

In Venezuela, there isn’t much money to be made since most of the population is living in poverty.

So criminals have been making the long journey north because there is lots of money to be made in the United States.

We must put an end to this, but the politicians in Washington refuse to do so.

Once they get across the border in Panama, it is so easy for South American criminals to get to our southern border.  This is something that Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino discussed during a recent speech to the United Nations

In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September, Panamanian President Mulino declared the flow of U.S.-bound migrants passing through his country an “immense global problem.” Migrants pass through his country in such large numbers, he said, that the “United States border” is functionally in Panama. Mulino called for joint international efforts to curb the flow of migrants, stressing that his country does not have the resources to solve the crisis on its own.

He is right.

Our southern border is basically in Panama at this point.

And that has got to stop.

When things finally hit the fan, millions of people that have come into this country illegally are going to go completely wild.

If our leaders had made better choices, things could have turned out much differently.

But now the stage has been set for unprecedented chaos, and when that time comes our law enforcement agencies will be totally overwhelmed.
