While Republicans are rightfully outraged, one can’t help but wonder why rich Republicans aren’t following suit in utilizing similar out-of-the-box strategies to sway public opinion.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) recently took to his pen, sending an urgent letter to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel on October 10. He demanded clarity on why the commission expedited this deal with a Soros-backed nonprofit mere weeks before Election Day. How can we trust an agency that seems ready to bypass national security reviews for foreign-funded purchases?

Other Republicans like Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) have joined the chorus decrying this politically charged decision — which was allegedly made along party lines in a troubling 3-2 vote.

But let’s face it; nobody expects the FCC to reverse course here. As Soros extends his reach deeper into media just as we approach what promises to be a tight race in 2024, conservatives are understandably concerned about what this means for our political landscape.

“What you now have is a left-wing Looney Tune who has access to millions of people in every market in the United States of America,” said David D. Smith, executive chairman of Sinclair Broadcast Group. “That’s scary.”

Indeed it is! For too long, conservative voices have been marginalized or outright persecuted within mainstream media channels—something only amplified by moves like these from unaccountable billionaires wielding their financial power without remorse.

Yet there appears little unity among conservatives regarding how best to respond. Some propose that megadonors should mimic Soros’s aggressive investment strategies rather than relying solely on traditional methods that leave them vulnerable and unheard.

Scott Walter—the president of Capital Research Center—echoes sentiments reminiscent of late journalist Andrew Breitbart when he asked, “What is the art of the conservative billionaire?”

He further emphasizes, “Soros, by contrast, makes big investments like this huge radio play. If conservative donors don’t invest more, the damage to our country’s culture will only worsen.”

The reality remains stark; money talks but so does influence through diverse platforms—and trusting adversarial outlets isn’t viable for effectively disseminating conservative messages either.

David D. Smith, executive chairman of Sinclair Broadcast Group, said, “There are four places where you can have a voice in today’s marketplace: internet, radio, TV and newspaper.

“So the simple question is if I was standing in front of every billionaire in United States right now I would say ‘Do you want to have a voice put out your philosophical perspective?’”

“If the answer is yes, then OK here’s how do that. They have decide: Do they really want just sit their money put it nonprofit someplace? And then they lament fact Democrats control everything.”

For now at least many conservative benefactors still cling tightly onto hopes pinned upon Washington politicians fighting valiantly for their agenda—a misguided notion given how often these elected representatives seem all too willing to capitulate under liberal pressure instead of making principled stands against such encroachments as those brought forth by George Soros.

As disillusionment mounts among frustrated conservatives watching yet another election cycle unfold under unfavorable media circumstances, perhaps it’s time they look towards embracing winning plays rather than remaining content merely playing defense.

Ken Paxton Demands FEC Change Donations Rules After Exposing ActBlue’s Foreign Influence Scandal https://right.report/ken-paxton-demands-fec-change-donations-rules-after-exposing-actblues-foreign-influence-scandal/ https://right.report/ken-paxton-demands-fec-change-donations-rules-after-exposing-actblues-foreign-influence-scandal/#respond Mon, 21 Oct 2024 22:56:01 +0000 https://right.report/ken-paxton-demands-fec-change-donations-rules-after-exposing-actblues-foreign-influence-scandal/ This is a bombshell, albeit a few months too late. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sent a request to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) to change rules following his office’s nearly year-long investigation to straw donations made through left-wing donations processor ActBlue.

According to Paxton, foreign money as well as domestic money that is greater than the legal limits are being funneled through “straw donations” to enrich Democrat campaigns and leftist causes.

As he noted on 𝕏:

Our investigation into ActBlue has uncovered facts indicating that bad actors can illegally interfere in American elections by disguising political donations.

It is imperative that the FEC close off the avenues we have identified by which foreign contributions or contributions in excess of legal limits could be unlawfully funneled to political campaigns, bypassing campaign finance regulations and compromising our electoral system.

I am calling on the FEC to immediately begin rulemaking to secure our elections from any criminal actors exploiting these vulnerabilities.

Here’s the news story from Bethany Blankley at The Center Square:

AG Paxton: Texas Investigation Into ActBlue Uncovers Suspicious Donations

(The Center Square) – A nearly year-long investigation into ActBlue, a Democratic Party online donation platform, alleges a large number of suspicious donations have been made, resulting in Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton petitioning the Federal Election Commission to get involved.

On Monday, Paxton petitioned the FEC to consider implementing new regulations to prevent straw donations from being made on online political fundraising platforms.

Since launching the investigation, Paxton said it’s been publicly reported that potentially fraudulent transactions have occurred on political committee online platforms.

“Certain platforms appear to facilitate straw donor transactions, where a contributor disguises his identity by attributing his contribution to another, unaware person,” the petition states.

Alleged straw donations are being made through the use of prepaid credit cards, which he says “are a favorite tool of fraudsters.”

Paxton’s office launched an investigation into ActBlue in December to determine if the platform’s operations were compliant with all applicable laws. In response to the investigation, Act Blue implemented a new measure in August requiring donors using credit cards to provide “CVV” codes. Paxton says this alone isn’t enough to prevent straw political donations from being made.

The OAG’s investigation says it found a large number of suspicious donations that were made “through obscured identities and untraceable means,” necessitating FEC action.

Through the use of prepaid cards it “appears that straw donations are systematically being made using false identities, through untraceable payment methods,” Paxton said.

Texas’ FEC petition includes partially redacted findings from the OAG’s investigation and recommends that the FEC implement regulations to close fundraising loopholes “that jeopardize American election integrity.” The FEC previously considered implementing such regulations, which ActBlue vocally opposed.

ActBlue’s opposition “is no longer tenable” in light of Texas’ investigation, Paxton said. “If not corrected by the FEC, bad actors can – with trivial ease – illegally funnel foreign money into American elections, exceed political contribution limits, and more.”

ActBlue says it’s raised more than $15.8 billion online since 2004.

In the third quarter of fiscal 2024, it says “6.9 million unique donors gave over 31 million contributions to 18,396 campaigns and organizations, totaling over $1.5 billion.”

“This quarter was the largest in ActBlue history,” it said.

Donors gave small amounts totaling $4.2 million to pro-abortion organizations in the quarter, a more than 208% increase from Q3 of 2020. They also gave small amounts totaling more than $5 million to pro-gun control groups, a 48% increase from the same period in 2020, it says.

ActBlue notes that 67.4% of all contributions were made with a saved payment method or digital wallet; 71.8% were made from a mobile device, a 14.8% increase from the third fiscal quarter of 2020.

“The record-breaking surge of small-dollar donations in Q3 2024 has clearly demonstrated the power of grassroots energy in shaping America’s political landscape,” ActBlue said. “As the Democratic Party heads into the final stretch of the campaign, these contributions are fueling races across the country, from local contests to the presidential election. Democrats are positioned to fight for victory in November, driven by this commitment and enthusiasm.”

Last month, U.S. House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky. raised concerns with the Treasury Secretary that ActBlue was being used to evade campaign finance laws, The Center Square reported.

The federal and Texas investigations were launched after U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, demanded answers from the FEC in April 2023 about ActBlue’s “schemes to garner illegal campaign donations.”

Rubio cited reports saying that “numerous individuals, including senior citizens, have purportedly donated to ActBlue thousands of times a year” but many “had no idea that their names and addresses were being used to give thousands of dollars in political donations, with most of these ‘donations’ going to ActBlue. It should come as no surprise that ActBlue serves as a vessel for fraud, considering the intentional lack of security engrained within their donation processes and systems.”

Over the last several months, ActBlue has argued that small donations represent “a new standard for grassroots political engagement. Donors from across the nation showed incredible generosity and a new sense of energy and momentum in electing Democrats up and down the ballot.”

Does Donald Trump REALLY Have This Election “In the Bag”? https://right.report/does-donald-trump-really-have-this-election-in-the-bag/ https://right.report/does-donald-trump-really-have-this-election-in-the-bag/#respond Mon, 21 Oct 2024 16:55:49 +0000 https://right.report/does-donald-trump-really-have-this-election-in-the-bag/ No. Stop it. Remember 2020. Remember the tens of millions of illegal aliens, 14% of whom are apparently registering to vote. Remember that while most states can report results in less than a day, for some reason battleground states like Pennsylvania and Georgia are incapable of reporting for days or even WEEKS after the election.

A popular podcaster told me last week that I need to be more positive on my show and in my newsletter. I get it. People love to be filled with hope and my brand of realistic analysis doesn’t always fit the bill. But on the other hand I’m also not a fearmongering peddler of unhinged doom and gloom meant to terrify my viewers, listeners, and readers. If I did either then my channel would likely have 10x or more subscribers. But that’s just not the goal.

The Globalist Elite Cabal and their minions in the UniParty Swamp are going to do everything they can to steal this election. The 2020 election was stolen (as were many of the 2022 elections) but the shenanigans of the past are infinitesimal compared to what is currently being unleashed for the 2024 election.

For us, this election is about preserving the future of the nation by establishing proper America First policies today. But as much as we think our incentives are high, the incentives of those fighting us are much higher because they’re personal. People like Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, and members of the Military Industrial Complex could lose everything if Trump is elected. For them, there is no limit to what they’ll do to cover up their sins.

This is why I’m not buying into projections or predictions showing Trump winning the Electoral College by a landslide. As he often says, we need to pretend like he’s up by one point in every race. We have to assume that literally every vote counts because some may be counted multiple times while others might not get counted at all. The notion of “too big to rig” must become a reality. There can be no complacency.

We fight to win. We fight to save our nation.

It’s all in God’s hands, but that doesn’t mean we’re just supposed to sit back and let it happen. We have responsibilities and we do not know our role in His plan. We know we must fight the good fight and be as ready as possible for whatever is to come.

On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I’ll be explaining why I don’t buy into the notion that Trump has a 93% chance of winning the election. Do I believe he’s going to get the most legal votes from United States citizens? Absolutely. But as Joseph Stalin allegedly said, “It’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.”

Also on today’s show:

  • 60 Minutes makes a triple joke with their statement about the deceitful Kamala Harris interview edit and none of them were funny.
  • Nikki Haley is reportedly talking about joining Team Trump. If she wants to help campaign then that’s fine but if she’s going to be part of the next administration then I’m out.
  • The economy is bad. It’s very bad. And fixing it isn’t going to be swift and easy like it was for Trump and the Republicans in 2017.
  • Rumors are circulating (sort of) that Kamala Harris made campaign manager Julie Chavez cry over skipping the Al Smith Dinner. Uncorroborated, but it passes the smell test.
  • There are four (and possibly five) prominent Democrats who secretly want Kamala to lose.
  • Elon Musk – I still don’t trust him but he seems to be on the right side for this election so I’m withholding criticism for now. His latest comment on defending free speech is spot on.

I’ll cover these and more on today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show at 11am Pacific. Also, on Monday and Tuesday ONLY, my daughter’s charter school fundraiser is happening. Please consider buying popcorn today or tomorrow. I can’t say I know if it’s any good since I haven’t tried it but I know it’s for a good cause!

Pray for and work for the best. In the meantime, here are today’s trending links…

No, NeoCon Nikki Should Not Be Let Back Into Trumpworld https://right.report/no-neocon-nikki-should-not-be-let-back-into-trumpworld/ https://right.report/no-neocon-nikki-should-not-be-let-back-into-trumpworld/#respond Mon, 21 Oct 2024 01:39:23 +0000 https://right.report/no-neocon-nikki-should-not-be-let-back-into-trumpworld/ Generally speaking, I’m a forgiving person. I believe in second chances. I sometimes believe in third chances. And as we’ve learned in the world of politics, sometimes people can be wrong and turn things around over time. Lest we forget, both Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan were Democrats before they weren’t.

Reports are circulating that Team Trump is in talks with former Ambassador Nikki Haley to participate in the last two weeks of his campaign, likely in exchange for some “considerations” should he win. There’s nothing surprising about this; Trump has demonstrated over the years a willingness to reconcile even with his harshest critics and strongest adversaries, including Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck, and Greg Gutfeld.

Haley represents a portion of the Republican Establishment that doesn’t believe in America First. She’s a NeoCon and card-carrying member of the Military Industrial Complex. But she does hold a little sway over Bush-Cheney Republicans and most importantly she’s a woman. The gap right now between Trump and Kamala Harris with women is quite large.

But here’s the thing. He doesn’t NEED her. She could possibly help a bit on the campaign trail but it’s negligible and possibly even risky. If she wants to do a town hall with him or something, that’s fine. But under no circumstances should he consider having her anywhere near his next administration.

His weakness in his first term was the people he surrounded himself with. Mike Pence, Rex Tillerson, Reince Priebus, Jeff Sessions, H.R. McMaster, John Bolton, Jim Mattis, Bill Barr, Alyssa Farah Griffin, John Kelly… should I go on?

Some are concerned that he’s now talking to people who are not conservative enough to be part of his next administration. Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and Tulsi Gabbard come to mind as high profile former Democrats who will all be in his White House if he wins. But they all have one thing in common that is very different from Haley. They do not want the United States involved in foreign conflicts, especially Ukraine. Haley would be Volodymyr Zelensky’s best friend if she were in the White House in any capacity.

So no, Trump should not entertain letting Haley back into Trumpworld. If she wants to help defeat Kamala Harris, that’s fine. But she gave up her White House pass with her campaign against him and there are no second chances for NeoCons who betray you even once.

This Really Is the Most Important Election of Our Lifetimes — Here’s Why https://right.report/this-really-is-the-most-important-election-of-our-lifetimes-heres-why/ https://right.report/this-really-is-the-most-important-election-of-our-lifetimes-heres-why/#respond Sun, 20 Oct 2024 06:06:05 +0000 https://right.report/this-really-is-the-most-important-election-of-our-lifetimes-heres-why/ Editor’s Note: There’s another reason not listed by the author. I covered it on an episode of The JD Rucker Show. Namely, it’s the fact that if Kamala Harris wins, there will be permanent globalist rule. Some say there will be permanent Democrat rule because of the illegals voting, but that’s actually not quite severe enough. The complete and permanent takeover of this nation by the globalists will happen a single Harris term. That’s what’s at stake. Otherwise, here are a dozen more reasons to believe this is the most important election of our lifetimes…

(Daily Signal)—We’ve heard it so often it has become a cliché: “This is the most important election of our lifetime.” But that doesn’t mean it’s not true.

I believe it really is, for one overarching reason: It’s the only election we can affect. The outcomes of 2020, 2016, and all previous campaigns are now in the rearview mirror. Nothing can be done about them. Not so regarding what happens on Nov. 5.

The people we choose to next lead our nation are up to us, and that makes this, like any future election, the most important election of our lifetimes. That said, the stakes are so high this time I can think of nearly a dozen more reasons.

Its effects may be more consequential than ever: Think of the lasting damage wrought by the elections of, say, Woodrow Wilson in 1912 or Franklin Roosevelt in1932, or the lasting benefits that came out of the 1980 election of Ronald Reagan.

Whether good or ill, we understand the hands we’ve been dealt in the past. In a world where we’re being told that borders are bad, killing babies is good, and men should be allowed in women’s locker rooms, the paradigm that will crystallize under the next administration could be even more game-changing.

The Constitution is under assault more than ever: For decades now, self-serving and irresponsible politicians have expanded the scope, breadth, and power of the federal government even as they provide lip service to constitutional constraints.

Today, however, the political Left is dispensing with all pretenses, taking open aim at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They want to eliminate the Electoral College, reapportion the Senate by population rather than by state, and emasculate the First and Second Amendments, among other things.

Once those bulwarks are gone, there will be no stopping them.

Congress is weaker than ever: The administrative state has become a leviathan that too few in Congress have the courage to slay.

It has been nearly three decades since the legislative branch has followed the proper appropriations process, during which time executive branch agencies have been given a free hand in not only issuing rules that have the force of law, but to act as judge, jury, and executioner in their enforcement.

We must return to effective checks and balances.

The courts are assailed more than ever: The one branch of government operating somewhat as it should is the recently reconstituted Supreme Court, which is slowly reining in decades of abusive legislation from the bench.

A proper separation of powers, however, is unacceptable to the Left, and if it gets its way, it will expand and pack the court, removing the Constitution’s last line of defense.

We must prevent that from happening.

Today’s voters are more civically ignorant than ever: Those of us who are old enough benefited from civics education when we were growing up.

Most of today’s young voters have little understanding of our republic and the principles upon which it was founded. More likely, their understanding of our nation is based on historical misrepresentations like “A People’s History of the United States” and “The 1619 Project,” leading them to vote against their own long-term interests.

By the time they dismantle the institutions that protect them, it will be too late.

Our national debt is more gargantuan than ever: When more people are benefiting from government largesse than funding it, you have a problem, and our $35 trillion problem amounts to more than $275,000 in debt per household. And now that interest on the debt has itself for the first time topped $1 trillion, we’re headed to exponentially worse territory.

We must both grow the economy and limit spending to keep our ship from sinking.

Our borders are more porous than ever: America is a nation of immigrants, but a nation isn’t a nation without borders. Untold millions of illegal immigrants have been pouring across our borders, exacerbating drug abuse, crime, and human trafficking—to say nothing of stressing our already stretched safety net.

Immigrants who follow the rules are welcome in America, but those who won’t must no longer be allowed in.

Assimilation is weaker than ever: The greater the number of immigrants, the greater the need for effective assimilation. America has always been a melting pot, but those who wish to see our common bonds weakened would exchange E Pluribus Unum for E Pluribus Conflictus.

We can’t allow our culture to become any more balkanized.

Drugs are deadlier than ever: When I was a kid in high school, marijuana was mild, the cost of cocaine put it out of reach, and we went to the convenience store to get a Big Gulp.

Today, powerful, addictive weed is legally available on every corner, and fentanyl can be bought for as little as 50 cents a pill. We have a drug-induced death epidemic that must be stopped.

Weapons of war are deadlier than ever: The world has always been a dangerous place, but the possibility of global destruction is fewer than 100 years old. Today, not only are we seeing frightening advances in conventional weaponry (e.g., hypersonic missiles and deadly drones), but entirely new kinds of weaponry (e.g., directed energy and genetic weapons). We must continually enhance our ability to defend ourselves.

The world is more dangerous than ever: There are hot wars raging in Europe and the Middle East, either of which could easily expand to engulf the region or the world. And while most of our adversaries are rational, not wishing to die any more than we do, some consider martyrdom an honor.

We need a foreign policy with teeth that balances diplomacy with deterrence.

That’s a dozen reasons, and I suspect you can think of many more. None of the candidates are ideal, and no administration will be perfect. But the ratchet of government excess has for decades been turning leftward. If we’re ever to reverse its direction, we first must do what we can to halt it.

That’s why this is the most important election of our lifetimes.

Majority of Americans Feel Worse Off Now Than 4 Years Ago https://right.report/majority-of-americans-feel-worse-off-now-than-4-years-ago-gallup/ https://right.report/majority-of-americans-feel-worse-off-now-than-4-years-ago-gallup/#respond Sun, 20 Oct 2024 01:31:51 +0000 https://right.report/majority-of-americans-feel-worse-off-now-than-4-years-ago-gallup/ A new Gallup poll reveals that more than half of Americans feel worse off financially than they did four years ago.

The survey, released on Oct. 18, found that 52 percent of U.S. adults believe their financial situation has deteriorated since 2020, while 39 percent feel they are better off.

A similar Gallup poll taken at the tail end of the Trump presidency in September 2020 found this sentiment roughly reversed, with 56 percent saying they were better off and 33 percent saying they were worse off than four years prior.

Partisan divides were stark in the latest poll, with 90 percent of Republicans feeling worse off, compared to just 16 percent of Democrats. Crucially, 55 percent of Independents, a pivotal voting bloc in the close 2024 presidential race, feel worse off, with 35 percent saying their financial situation has improved.

The economic confidence index, tracked by Gallup, has been predominantly negative over the course of the Biden administration. In 2022, it reached lows not seen since the 2007–2009 recession, largely due to inflation hitting a 40-year high.

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee for the coming election, has blamed President Joe Biden’s policies for inflation and what he calls economic stagnation.

On the campaign trail, Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris has been emphasizing the Biden administration’s economic recovery efforts.

“Still, we know that many Americans don’t yet feel that progress in their daily lives,” Harris said. “Costs are still too high. And on a deeper level, for too many people, no matter how much they work, it feels so hard to just be able to get ahead.” […]

The Battleground State Scenario That Could Spin America Into Total Chaos https://right.report/the-battleground-state-scenario-that-could-spin-america-into-total-chaos/ https://right.report/the-battleground-state-scenario-that-could-spin-america-into-total-chaos/#respond Fri, 18 Oct 2024 02:14:40 +0000 https://right.report/the-battleground-state-scenario-that-could-spin-america-into-total-chaos/ It takes 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency. Is it possible that we could have a 269-269 tie? Actually, there are multiple scenarios in which just playing with the battleground states could lead us to the most chaotic election result in American history.

Trump Vindicated After Bombshell Report Proves Debate Moderator Dead Wrong https://right.report/just-in-trump-vindicated-after-bombshell-report-proves-debate-moderator-dead-wrong/ https://right.report/just-in-trump-vindicated-after-bombshell-report-proves-debate-moderator-dead-wrong/#respond Thu, 17 Oct 2024 15:51:36 +0000 https://right.report/just-in-trump-vindicated-after-bombshell-report-proves-debate-moderator-dead-wrong/ The Biden Justice Department, much like the Biden Labor Department, is quietly amending its crime statistics after posting incomplete data to dispute a key charge that former President Donald Trump has made against Joe Biden.

For most of his third campaign for office, President Trump has regularly railed against rising violent crime in the U.S., tying high-profile instances of murder to the millions of new migrants who crossed into the country over the past two years. In response, both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have disputed his characterization of crime, and they have been assisted by a mainstream media that has all too often rebutted Trump’s assertions, claiming violent crime is down year-over-year. That turned out to be false, according to the FBI.

RealClearPolitics first noted a “stealth edit” made by Bureau officials in their crime data from 2022 through September 2023 where initial data showed violent crime falling by 2.1% during that period. On Wednesday, RCP reported that the FBI report now shows violent crime rose by 4.5% in that time span, vindicating President Trump and the families of murder victims who say a secure southern border may have saved their loved ones from tragic ends. In a press release last month, the FBI public relations team made no mention of the drastic change.

Even if one knew where to look, the new numbers don’t immediately pop out. Reporter John R. Lott Jr. wrote that he first noticed a cryptic line in an FBI update to the website which stated, “The 2022 violent crime rate has been updated for inclusion in CIUS, 2023.” The only way to see the change, he wrote, was to download the current data and compare it to the previously posted data which has since been removed.

During last month’s debate, President Trump assured viewers that “crime is up” across the country, prompting Vice President Harris to frown and shake her head. “Despite their fraudulent statements they made, crime in this country is through the roof. And we have a new form of crime, it’s called migrant crime,” Trump said on September 10th, “and it’s happening at levels nobody thought possible.” Some of the examples cited by Trump and others include the killing of Georgia college student Laken Riley and the rape and murder of a 12-year-old Texas girl, both allegedly at the hands of recent migrants. Debate moderator David Muir did Harris’ bidding and immediately fact-checked Trump on the crime rate. […]

Infuriating Reality of Democrat Rule: Kamala Supporters Hate Women https://right.report/infuriating-reality-of-democrat-rule-kamala-supporters-hate-women/ https://right.report/infuriating-reality-of-democrat-rule-kamala-supporters-hate-women/#respond Wed, 16 Oct 2024 03:59:52 +0000 https://right.report/infuriating-reality-of-democrat-rule-kamala-supporters-hate-women/ There is allegedly a growing number of “Men for Kamala.” This is almost certainly not true but the narrative is growing. So why do they support her? Clearly, it’s because they hate women. The misogyny of Kamala Harris supporters is blatant as they embrace policies that put women and girls in harm’s way.
