The legacy media has largely faced facts concerning Tuesday’s vice presidential debate between Republican JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz – namely, that Walz got his butt rather politely handed to him by Vance. But some on the far left – the loony left, in fact – are still attempting damage control. And in the media, short of publications like Mother Jones or The Nation, they don’t come much farther left than the crew on “The View.”
Yes, they made an effort for Team Kamala Harris, while reluctantly acknowledging the obvious:
“The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said Wednesday that Gov. Tim Walz “dropped the ball” during the vice presidential debate by failing to fact-check Sen. JD Vance.
“I honestly thought from a performance and delivery perspective Tim Walz had the rockier night,” Griffin said, despite arguing that Vance’s difficulty in responding to a question about Jan. 6 at the end of the debate was the most clipable part of the night.
The “rockier night”? If that’s not the understatement of the year, it will do until a better one comes along.
